  How long do results last?
• Lasting results with any medical, health or cosmetic procedure vary with overall health, age, and lifestyle.  However after an initial series of about 8 to 18 sessions maintenance can be once every month or 2. Think of your body as a battery.  When we do ELR we are recharging your battery.  The better the chemicals in your battery the better you hold your charge.  That is why in our office we also treat the whole body using, diet, herbs, homeopathy, chiropractic and electro-acupuncture also using the same instrument, the Acutron Mentor.
  
  How is this different from a face-lift?
• A face-lift is a whole different matter.  It is quite invasive, there is healing time, and it can be very painful.  Obviously we are not cutting and pulling the muscles on your face.  We increase the vitality of the muscles of your face so you look like a younger, brighter, more rested version of yourself.
• While not a replacement for surgery, Facial Rejuvenation is an excellent alternative. It is far less costly than cosmetic surgery and is safe, painless, has no side effects or risk of disfigurement. There is no trauma from Facial Rejuvenation, unlike surgery, which may have an extended recovery period with swelling and discoloration.   How is this different form Botox?
• Botox is a brand name for  Botulinum toxin
• Botulinum toxin is a neurotoxic (nerve toxin) protein produced by the bacterium Clostridium botulinum.
• It is the most toxic protein known with an LD50 of roughly 0.005-0.05 µg/kg.
• LD 50 means….The dose of a toxicant that will kill 50% of test organisms within a designated period of time. The lower the LD 50, the more toxic the compound.
• Despite this, it is sold commercially under the brand names Botox, Dysport, Myobloc, Neurobloc and Xeomin.
• In essence you are injecting a pathogenic organism into the body to cause a mini paralysis of the muscles.
• Do you think that is making the muscles healthier or less healthy?
• ELR actually feeds the cells with energy making them not only look younger but really rejuvenating them on a cellular level.

  How is this different form an acupunture face-lift?
• Actually it is very similar to an “Acupuncture face lift” except that:
• We do not use needles,
• There is no bruising

  How is this different from other facial electrical devices?
• Typically most electrical devices that are used on the face is milli-amps (1/1000) of an amp.  An amp is the amount of current.  1/1000 of an amp is A LOT of power.  You will know this because it actually makes your muscles twitch.  The theory is that you are exercising the muscle.
• ELR is quite different.  We use much LESS current. 1/1.000.000 of an amp. This is the type of current your body uses so the body accepts it like food.  Also this is the only device that uses microcurrent and light simultaneously.
  
  How was ELR discovered?
• The device that we use called the Acutron Mentor has been used for many years by acupuncturists, chiropractors, physicians, physical therapists and other wellness professionals for pain management and the treatment of various conditions.
